What's up with my Camera?

It's been acting a little weird today. I just plugged it in to download some pics and look what I found. Seems I have a budding photographer/super model on my hands!

Bosom Buttons!

These are cool!! I am happy to tell you about a fellow small business owning woman's cool new product - the bosom button! They are pretty little sparkley pins that you can use to accessorize and minimize a gaping blouse line. I am certainly not claiming to be "blessed" in any way in this department, but I do have a few cute wrap style tops that are not always cooperating. These are a perfect pretty fix!! Only 12 dollars each, or 3 for 25 dollars! I went for the "essential collection" cause that's how I roll ;) Farewell wardrobe malfunctions! xo, Brie

Lazy Super Tuesday

Here's what we're up to today! Remember when your biggest problems were trying to get that rogue piece of blue playdough out of the pink playdough or how to get those last little bits out of the fuzzy pumper barber shop guy's head? Those were the days! xo, Brie

PS it smells just as great as you remember!

What a Game!

Have I mentioned that I hate football? I do, but last night's game might have reformed me slightly. There were a few factors at play last night that helped me understand this mysterious game a little more therefore increasing my interest.

Our friends were kind enough to host 4 families to view the Super Bowl in their new media room on a 92 inch HDTV!! I felt like I was actually at the game... never in my life have a seen a picture like this. I had my buffalo chicken dip, my guiness, pulled pork bbq sandwich (delicious) and was all settled in for a fun night of commercials :)

I started to catch on a bit to the rules and goings of the game based on my friend E. When she was jumping up and down, smiling, clapping, shouting - I knew the Giants were doing well. When she was grumbling and muttering insults under her breath - they had messed up. I am a quick study! I was fully on board when Plaxico Burress caught that pass and everyone was screaming, high fiving, and hugging. So even though I wasn't all that into it, it was fun being with a group that was so into it. So, I still don't love football (maybe hate was a strong word....) that was a pretty good game to devote my attention to for the first time ever (honestly, I am not kidding).

I thought the commercials were disappointing... honestly the only one I can remember is the Will Ferrell Bud Light one. That one was pretty good, none of the others really left a real impression on me. Will shtick really never gets old for me!!!

Tom Petty rocked it though! I loved the halftime show complete with no wardrobe malfunctions!

Thanks to our hosts S and B for a super fun night!! We are all tired and dragging today, but it was totally worth it!

My Guy!

Sorry for the gushing.... but look at the Valentine's card my (very soon to be) 9 year old son made for ME today :) Am I the luckiest girl in the world or what? I know I probably won't always be his number one valentine, but this sure made my day. This made my month in fact and it's only the 1st! Had to document this - thank you Kev!!! Have a great weekend everyone! xo, Brie

This Week is a Wrap

It's been a busy yet uneventful week here. I always love snapping that alarm button to off first thing Friday! Tomorrow we don't have to be anywhere until 11!!!

So here's some hilights and lowlights:

  • Got my hair seriously chopped yesterday- like 4 plus inches. I am too shy to take a pic but I like it!

  • Lost - ok you totally tricked me into thinking it was a 2 hour premier but I have should have known better when you kept referring to it as an "event". That first hour was a bit of a sneaky trick, but the premier was good and I always love seeing my "Chawleeee" - (in Claire's Aussie accent) so extra bonus points for that!

  • BIG Keeks and Brie projects underway - some I can't talk about and some I can (and will at some point). All are very good and hopefully I'll be able to discuss them soon!

  • Project Runway - I'm still not speaking to you

  • Gearing up for Super Tuesday here in NJ - the ballots have changed considerably, you better vote or you're not allowed to complain!

  • Britney - honest to goodness girl, you seriously need to get your "stuff" together.

  • Super Bowl Sunday - I hate football. Most who know me, know this. I recently announced you would have to pay ME to actually go to the Superbowl in Arizona. My husband told me to stop talking like that before people think something is wrong with me. That made me laugh. I am however very much looking forward to some Buffalo Chicken Dip and a guiness. ok maybe 2 guiness!

I told you in was an uneventful week ;) I like uneventful! Hope your weekend is fun! GO GIANTS!! Sorry but I live in NJ and you gotta love a good underdog! When in Rome....xo, Brie

Dear Project Runway....

You stood me up last night. I planned my entire day around curling up on the couch with you at 10 pm, and how do you thank me? You thank me by rerunning last week's episode. A call would have been nice. I'm mad and you stink! You forced me to tune into The Gauntlet 3 on MTV and thanks to you, I think my IQ dropped about 45 points. You better be back next week or we're breaking up! Signed XOBrie
