Michael Jackson is turning 50?!?!? I don't know why that sounds weird to me but it does. I was in 8th grade when Thriller came out. I used to go over to my friend Maureen's house to watch the video after school (which she had purchased over the phone to own using hard earned babysitting money!) I am only a slightly embarrassed to share that I had THIS poster hanging on my closet door (which I purchased at Spencer Gifts btw) Michael has gotten a little eccentric these days - I heard he has a son named Blanket - but nobody and I mean nobody can deny the awesomeness of Off the Wall and Thriller!
Ohhh I just remembered an oldie but goodie... gets me cutting a rug every time! The special effects are funny. Don't blame it the sunshine, don't blame it on the moonlight, don't blame on the good times.....

You are so right! He was (is?) a musical genius, which makes me all the more sad that he seems to have gone whack.
I saw a video of Man in the Mirror recently and it gave me chills, it was so good.
I so had that poster hanging in my room as well. I can remember going to the roller skating rink every Saturday morning with my dad and they would play the Thriller video on this huge screen while you skated. OH SO FUN!
He is a genius and all of them are a little crazy I guess!!! I cannot believe he's 50!!!! I adore him still and will never forget that performance where he did the moonwalk for the first time. I was in awe!!!

I heard on the celebrity gossip that he is dating Pamela Anderson! YIKES!!!
50? Wow! With all that work he's had done he doesn't look a day over 29!
