The Help


I had heard a lot of great things about the book The Help by Kathryn Stockett so I put my name on the hold list at the library. I was number 451 on the list!!! Kay took pity on me and bought it for me Christmas. I have to tell you, I'm loving it (about 1/3 done). I can't stop reading it and thus getting nothing done around here.     I have this on my list too! I think I will put it on my ereader today so I am ready to go when I finish the books I am reading right now!

    My sister told me about that book, she loved it and I hear they are making a movie version of it.

    Too bad I never finish any books these days. I'm sure if I actually focused I would love it.

    Jill - like I've told you b/f - I suspect we are a lot alike. I am often lacking in focus but when I get a good book, I'm all over it. Bad news is, I am getting absolutely NOTHING else done (and there is plenty to do :)

    I think you will all love the book, still not done but cruising along and loving it!

    I read it on my kindle when it came out. A-mazing read. wish it was a college class read as it would be great to dissect - fun and smart read. I agree with ya!

    I just finished it - Amazing read... and a very sweet acknowledgment at the end that made me cry. I loved the characters and Mae Mobley is awesome!
