I am almost done my third book of the summer and the third in the Twilight series, Eclipse. I like them, I would love to tell you that I love them but am going to leave it at I like them. I am a little more than half way through (these books are long, this one is over 600 pages, it's light enjoyable reading though) PS I'm still on team Jacob :)
I have my 4th book on deck just in from the library and I can't wait to read it!!
I only have it for 3 weeks (clock started ticking yesterday) so I need to cruise through Eclipse to get this done!
Time is running out but I'm no quitter! First day of fall is officially September 22 and I am feeling a second wind coming on. Hurricane Danny seems to want to help me get this done too - looks like he is fixing to make my weekend a washout! What's your favorite book of the summer? xo, Brie

I actually really enjoyed the Mating Rituals of the American WASP this summer. I have also been reading the Ben Franklin biography, but needed a little break. It is very interesting, but not what I would call a page turner.
Hi Brie- you are ambitious! My favorite book of the summer that I just finished was Year of Fog. I flew through it- so good in my opinion.
I am reading the first Twilight book now and have not found it to be a page turner but I am trying to get into it. This summer I did finish "Firefly Lane" by Kristin Hannah and "Queen Takes King" by Gigi Levangie Grazer. Both were really good.
the twilight series is so so! I really like the sookie sackhouse novels, way more adult. I'm not into that rated G highschool stuff. I finished the twilight books none the less, and laughed very hard at the movie. Did you see that? There's a scene where Edward looks like the Elf on the Shelf. He's in a tree with his arms wrapped around his knees, I lost it in the theater!
My Alice Waters book is not going very quickley, I think I'm going to choose sleep tonight!
