Basket Day

I'm packing the car with oodles of belts, headbands, bags, and jelly watches! The manual labor side of shows is a little less than thrilling for me, but a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. If you are a local Jersey girl like me (Let me tell you something about my family.... ha!) please stop by Wednesday and see me :) I am going to try and remember to take my camera with me for some pictures of the set up.

We'll be participating in the 50th annual Basket Day at Lamington Presbyterian Church in Bedminster - Wed, May 5th from 10am-3pm. Admission is free and lunch is available to purchase. They do a great job with this event and there are always a lot of nice vendors for some Spring and Mother's Day shopping :) More info about the event can be found here

and in other news..... numero cinco has been captured - I'm becoming desensitized to seeing squirrels caught in live traps on the side of my roof which is a frightening state of affairs! xo, Brie

Captured!

Despite Ms. C shouting to it on the roof - "Don't go near those cages, they are traps!!! I want you to stay with us forever...." Mama Squirrel finally set foot in the bigger cage and was whisked away to the beautiful countryside in Tewksbury, NJ this afternoon. I know we all wish her fond farewell :) We know there is at least one still in the attic and we hope it's only one. We are all anxiously awaiting it to venture out into the humane trap! xo, Brie

Update: Mama is locked out and NOT happy

Update 2: A second humane trap has been set for Mama to the left of the tube one. Mama could give a rip about the trap and is STILL trying to break back into the house. Mama Bridget is breathing into a paper bag here. Might be time for a little glass of wine to ease the nerves.
