What I'm Reading

The Gift of an Ordinary Day by Katrina Kenison. It's a memoir with some nice perspective from a mother entering the middle of her life and raising 2 adolescent boys with her husband. I am enjoying it! One Fabulous Mom posted this narrative by the author a few months ago which is why I picked up the book in the first place. It's worth a look if you haven't seen it. xo, Brie

a quick warning - it's a bit of a sweet tear jerker so don't watch it with your headphones in the public library like I did. People will look at you like you are kookanook.

I'll have to keep this one in mind! I just finished Sarah's Key. Haunting subject matter.....if you are looking for a serious read...

Loved The Help as well! Thanks for sharing your books!

I have Sarah's Key on my to do list. A few people have told me it's very good. I have Tender to the Bone waiting for me at the library - another memoir by Gourmet's Ruth Reichel
