The Absentee Blogger

Yes, that's me! Sorry for the lack of fun over here the past week or so...
Things have been hectic, I am working on a HUGE project that I hinted to AWHILE back and still can't talk about it. We are in the final stretches here so I'll post lots and lots of pics in a couple of weeks. Cryptic, yes?

In the meantime I am decorating for Halloween, planting mums, redoing the window boxes, had my first Keeks and Brie show yesterday, cleaning, obsessively playing on facebook, doing way too much laundry, drinking my new favorite drink from Starbucks the Pumpkin Spice Latte - (thanks to Christy's sweet gift card to me!!), ccd, reading lots of books about spirited children, and obsessively combing the internet for remedies to keep head lice far far far away from my kid's heads! I just got an email that it is being passed around school. I just got back from Whole Foods where I picked up a big old bottle of tea tree oil which I will be adding to their shampoo - internet sources say the lice don't care for this stuff so we'll be dousing ourselves in it ;) Good times over here! xo, Brie

Hey sweetie, thanks for visiting me. I think about you alot, even though I don't always comment on your blog. You were so great to me, getting all those lovely bags shipped in no time. I'll never forget that. Everyone loved them, of course, how could they not? I'll be back to shop soon. I'm headed to my beloved Cape Cod this week....what a perfect time to be there...no blankety-blank traffic coming out of Logan, exquisite fall colors to look at, Red Sox may be in next play-offs, and wonderful cooler temps....we are still in the 80's+ with AC running nonstop!
Hope you and family are well!
Love you!

Oooh, forgot to ask...how was your fist KEEKS & BRIE Show? and I pray your babies do not get lice!
Been there with those worries... years ago. I taught PreK and all my sweet little ones had lice. Was so afraid those buggers would hop onto me and come into my home...so on...
we never had a problem, Thank you God!

I hope the kids don't get lice. I was unfortunate enough to get them in the third grade, when my hair was down to my bum. It was miserable, and I cried and cried as my mother was combing through my hair with that tiny comb. Just horrible. Can you tell I was totally traumatized?? I seriously hope the tee tree oil works.
