Springtime in NJ

I was starting to feel sorry for myself this weekend as I froze my you know what off at a bunch of cold, grey, drizzly, freezing baseball games..... but it's a NEW DAY (kev's latest phrase) here in NJ! Blue skies, bright sun, and 70 degrees. The perfect beautiful day :) Here are some pics around my yard in bloom. Hope you're having a perfect beautiful Monday too! xo, Brie

This crab apple tree was a gift from my parents it's one of my favorite things ever

under the canopy... smells beautiful in here but look out for the bees, they love this tree too!

All these lilacs border one side of our yard. Every single one of them is from a transplanted shoot! Amazing! It only took about 4-5 years for them to get like this. You cannot even believe how great these smell!

up close... one of my favorite flowers!

Even the violets are starting to pop up :)

What a peaceful yard. Lilacs are one of my favorites and yours look fantastic. I just wish they didn't make me sneeze just for looking at them!

Love the Lilacs. I have one that I transplanted about a year ago- it gives me hope that it will grow as well as yours. In the meantime, I am enjoying my neighbor's lilacs!!

I'm so jealous of your lilacs. Because of the crazy weather we've been having here mine didn't bloom. I purposely planted them right outside my bedroom window so I could smell them. Oh, well I guess there's always next year!
