We got a new car this past weekend and my goodness did we ever need it! We had our last minivan for almost 8 years. Four kids and a couple of travel mugs of coffee overboard will do a number on a vehicle, trust me. We are all loving the new car, it has all those conveniences that have been around for awhile that we have never had the pleasure of knowing like the dvd player, auto doors, and my favorite satellite radio!
So what if I can never listen to Howard because the kids are always in the car? It's nice to know he's there if I want to! Plus I'm all over the 80's and 90's alt stations too! What Sirius channels do you like? I really haven't had any time yet to fully explore it, so I am eager for some recommendations! xo, Brie

You're so lucky. I can't tell you my favorite Sirius channel because I'm still using an 8 track. Now if you can tell me where I can get the Sex and the City soundtrack on 8 track, I would surely appreciate that! You enjoy living in the year 2008, I'll catch up eventually.
I'm obsessed with my Sirius radios! My husband and I each have one in our cars, and we have a stiletto in the kitchen. In fact, I am listening to it online right now (at work). Howard 100 is definitely the most listened-to station in this house, along with: Coffee House (30), Martha Stewart (112), Lithium (24) and Left of Center (26). I also like the NPR stations (134 & 135). Have fun!

Colleen, thanks for the recommendations! I really need the stiletto b/c I am not in my car all that often and when I am I usually have the kids. I love NPR too... really any talk radio so I can't WAIT to get this in my house :)

I was an early Sirius subscriber but I gave it up because I don't listen to radio at home much. If I had it in the car I would listen to it more.
