Just got back from my daughter's first basketball playoff game. Unfortunately they lost and the season is over for them. This game was SO close the ENTIRE time with a final score of 14 to 18. They played a great game, and truth be told I am sad I won't get to see them play again tomorrow. As someone who has never excelled in sports in any way shape or form, something completely snaps in me when my kids are playing. I am suddenly the most competitive, knowledgeable person in sports that ever lived. I am still feeling physically ill with nerves over this game. Now don't get me wrong... I am not THAT parent that is being escorted off the court by the ref for bad behavior but if things keep progressing in me at this rate I could be by the time they are in high school. I can see it now, me with my face painted carrying around an air horn and a big over sized foam hand that says "number one". Maybe I'll even get me one of these!!!!
Thanks again to the great ladies of Bedwell who came to see me last night at the show! It was a fun time :)
Enjoy your weekend! Go Hoyas! xo, Brie

How fun!! It is a shame the girls didn't win! My dad did get escorted out of one of my basketball games for yelling at the refs...the game was really out of control; I think two girls from my team had to go to the hospital that night. It was more like Wrestlemania than a basketball game. I thought my dad was so cool for trying to protect us! haha
Wow Brie, I'm a little disappointed. I haven't had to leave the house for several weekends now becaue I just lived through you. I do like basketball games though. Sorry you're daughter didn't win. I'm sure that she would have loved to see you in the stands with your new hat.
