Quickie Friday

Quickie post that is because in usual Brie style, I have completely overextended myself today. I got tagged today by One Fabulous Mom for my top 5 work out songs. No matter how crazy my to do list is, I can always squeeze in some quality procrastinating in the form of blogging fun! So here it goes... top 5 favorites to work out

5. Rock Your Body - Justin Timberlake (this is a good one to slowly build your heart rate)

4. The Queen and I - Gym Class Heroes (poppy hip hop, they're awesome)

3. Another Nail in My Heart - Squeeze (yes I went to high school in the 80s)

2. You Just Haven't Earned it Yet Baby (Smiths remake by Kirsty MacColl)

1. Pump it - Black Eye Peas (come on, can't work out without the Peas)

How's that for a random 5? I like random!!!!

I also just stopped by Target for 3 things, walked out with 300 things and did a remix on this 9.99 jean skirt for my daughter to wear to her dance tonight! I think she is going to love it!

before
after the remix ;)

Have a great weekend!! I tag Misplaced Country, Ang, Kerry, Libby, and Nicolette quick, what are your top 5 work out songs :) xo, Brie

LOVE the skirt!! That looks exactly like something I would do! I have decorated overalls, shirts, and kids shoes with ribbon like that! I love it!

Saw you in Target today! Wasn't sure that was you since you weren't behind your "Keeks and Brie" table, and only thought it was you after we passed. (Rt. 10 at 10:30 in this morning!)and now know it was you since I read your blog!! Ok, so the mean idol "anoynomous person" had to make me sign up to blog with you because I used to hit anoynomous and sign my name because I was just too lazy to sign up! Anyway, love the skirt...wish I had really known it was you today! XO

The skirt was surprisingly easy to do. I'll do a tutorial one of these days. The real trick is you have to do the ribbon in 2 pieces. One in front, one in back, I had tried it once with a full circle around and it was problematic.

Joy, that is so funny. I was there this morning all right! Came out with WAY more than I had gone in for but it always goes that way right? I'm glad you signed up to comment. I couldn't take the mean weird woman leaving anon comments telling me I watch too much tv was more than I could take ;)
