Is this a little Overboard?

I take no personal offense to this because it is not directed to me as we do not own a dog. I ask you though, is this necessary? It doesn't feel like a "neighborly" message to me. Mister Rogers would never have driven a sign like this into the ground by his mailbox.

Quick question though:

Does someone see this sign shopping and say to themselves, "Yes! I have been looking everywhere for a sign like this," or do they actually go to a sign maker and have this made custom. "Please make sure you italicize the word your and my for extra emphasis!"

Discuss ;) xo, Brie

This made me laugh. I bet they had it custom made!

Maybe, just maybe they think it's "funny"? Although I think it's a little passive aggressive.

I have neighbors down the street with an ugly crab grass lawn and a sign that says, 'please don't wee wee on our tree tree'. That might be meant to be funny, but I don't really get it!

You should buy some faux pooh from spencers and plant in at the base of that sign!

at least the wee wee and tree tree sign is funny! This one is a flat out scolding to all local dog owners.

And as for the faux droppings... let's just say you and Monka think alike! ha! It's a hilarious idea, but I just don't have the nerve and knowing me, I'd get caught too!

Curious sign, indeed, as their flowers look like weeds.
