Almost Forgot my Idol Predictions
If America has any sense whatsoever it's adious to
this guy

and also this guy

Those tricky judges have something up their sleeve to mess with the voting. I think they will excercise a veto if needed. This season is screwy!

Idol Chit Chat
in case you "missed" it, you really "missed" nothing)I'm left feeling indifferent about Idol for the third week in a row.

She's in for sure

I hope he's in... (again I'm nervous b/c I actually voted for him last night and got through every single time)

and the last one is a toss up for me. I'm guessing it will be this guy? He got a lot of air time in the preview shows. He is legally blind, and seems like a very very nice guy, but I'm going to say it... I don't think he has that great of a voice. At least last night he didn't that's for sure. I did like how he gave Seacrest a little b busting last night and asked for a high five after the audition debacle.
In case you missed it.... xo, Brie
PS Olivia Newton John totally let me down last night and sang a terrible Meatloaf song. WHAT!??!?! He did such a cool unplugged Disturbia during auditions. He needs to do stuff like that every time.

Idol Chit Chat
1. The no brainer - who does AI think they're fooling stacking the decks in their favor with the best person to perform last and end the show on a high note? I'm on to you!! Good gracious can this guy sing. He has the quaffed rocker hair and guy liner but the little face of cute Jessie McCartney so I do not believe he'll be scaring anyone off. Amazing, amazing singer.....

Can't wait to what goes down tonight! xo, Brie

Idol Chit Chat
I like this guy with his glasses better... those stylists think they know EVERYTHING

Construction Guy (picked a good song, got a LOT of air time in the shows leading up and didn't massacre his song)

Bottom 3 will be Syesha, Jason (sniffle), and Brooke fo shiz! I'm done predicting who will go home b/c I'm always wrong. Off to light a candle for my cute Jason ;)

Deep Thoughts on American Idol
1. David Archuleta - technically this guy is perfect. I believe he may not be human. He has the whole package: great voice, nice personality, and cute looking. My only problem with David is that I am not into his style of music. I imagine his album cover being him with his arms outstretched on the top of a mountain, with some wispy clouds overhead and maybe a dove flying by or something? He's going for inspirational singer, but I'm not feeling inspired. He's really great - just not for me.
2. Carly - she looked great last night. That scolding from Simon on her style really lit a fire under her. The dress was perfect on her! Figure flattering and long sleeved (I am not sure all of America is into the inked sleeve look either, so covering them up may be wise). I think she also has a great voice, very pretty, love that Irish accent. She sang well, the competition is tough and she is not going to win. Your husband's tatooed face is scaring me a little!
3. Syesha - I thought you had an advantage last night since you and Mariah sing similar in a similar genre. Again great voice, super pretty... kind of boring.
4. Brooke - I love Brooke, I think she is real - I don't find her shticky. The radio hosts around here skewered her this morning for being annoying, talking too much, and not singing well. I happen to disagree, I liked her but I love that unplugged acoustic sound. Is she the next American Idol? Probably not, but I still like her. Um, why did she miss her sister's wedding?? That was ridiculous!
5. Kristy Lee - Getting better and better. Now she's giving a Patsy Cline vibe which I really like. Chance on winning this is equal to a snowball in Hades. I have never seen such perfectly straight teeth!
6. David Cook - Judges loved him! I found him a little wedding singerish at the very beginning of the song but then he brought it. I like my Fall Out Boy lead sing look alike. I do believe he may win! Either way he'll be fine.
7. Jason - Oh Jason, I am so biased now it's ridiculous. LOVE him. He's the whole package - even his goofiness is growing on me. Last night wasn't my favorite for him, but I liked it enough. Randy's luau reference made me laugh b/c it was kind of true, but Paula and Simon loved it so I hope he sticks around. The stage was dark, so I couldn't be sure... but was my boy wearing a Jersey Tuxedo? That was definitely him giving me a shout out! :)
Ok, who's going home??? Probably Carly or Syesha. I'll say Syesha for the 4th week a row!!

American Idol, Dolly, and Pay It Forward Winners

First let me start off with - I love Dolly Parton. I think she is very sweet, talented, and smart with an amazing business sense. I admire so much about her. All this being said, I do hate to say it, I found the show a little S L O W last night. I don't understand why they have to keep devoting an entire show to one particular artist. I like the wider range shows like pick any song from your birth year, or the 60's, 70's etc etc.
Here is the rundown in order of appearance along with my prediction of who will get das boot tonight (if you are reading regularly, you will know this means nada, my track record has been dismal this season)
1. Brooke - Ok. Nothing spectacular... but have a seat, you are safe!
2. David Cook - you have a great voice. Little Sparrow was a snoozefest! I heard you went to the hospital last night after the show for heart palpitations?
will! I do believe you have nabbed your BFF sittin in the audience almost every week Danny's fans and that was huge for you. I have finally cracked the code why you get to stay week after week!

American Idol Time!

I have a lot of thoughts r/g last night's show (what else is new?) here's the breakdown in order of appearance :)
1. Ramiele - what the?????? Love that song, you didn't sing it too well. I understand you are sick, I think you'll have a lot of time to convalesce at home b/c you are leaving us tonight.
2. Jason - I still really, really like you. You need to not talk so much in the interviews (wee bit painful to watch) You also need to step it up a bit, I think people will start to get bored.
3. Seyesha - the judges seemed to like you, I don't know the song you sang. I was bored.
4. Jacuzzi - you have been growing on me the last 2 weeks. I actually liked your Beatles performances. Stay upbeat, lose the Luther, you're better when you're peppy.
5. Brooke - I still really, really like you too. You're falling into the same trap as Jason my other fave - you need to bring it to the next level.
6. Michael - You KILLED tonight. I suggest you angle Queen songs every week. LOVED IT! I also loved that you were born in the 70's like me, these youngins don't know how to choose good songs.
7. Carly - I would have much preferred if you had done the Total Eclipse from Old School (aka Dan Band's rendition) Don't worry I sang it along with you and did that version over you. It was much better :) and ps... what on earth was that last show off note??? SO uncalled for and basically left me feeling mad.
8. David Archuleta - Mr KB thought for sure you'd sing a Backstreet Boys song b/c we thought you might be born in the late 90's :) That made me laugh! What the heck was that song you sang? You need to tell Dad to stay out of this and pick some cooler songs. I felt like I was watching Up with People at Knox Berry Farms.
9. Kristy Lee - I don't know what to say. You chose a sentimental song, I think you'll get through b/c of it.
10. David Cook - I declared you a sleeper in this competition way back in the beginning. I find him to be the most radio "friendly" of the whole top 10. Your voice was so on point last night, but such sacrilege to sing someone else's cover of Michael Jackson!!! The judges thought you took a risk, I say you played it safe. A risk would have been doing Michael's version and I believe you would have pulled it off. Next time!
Ok, that's it folks! What did you think of last nights' show? AGAIN, I'm saying bye bye to Ramiele! xo, Brie

Adieu to Ramiele

Deep Thoughts by Brie Handy
- Project Runway was simply a triumph last night. I went to bed so happy as all was so so right in the world ;) I was doing the Nutty Professor Mama Klump for my Christian (Hercules, Hercules!!!!!) I'll cite the following as examples....
- Posh Spice
- Rami was such a gracious gentleman being the runner up
- killer fashion show
- Tim Gunn is the nicest guy ever
- and oh yeah, Christian RULES
- American Idol predictions (warning I've got a shake up here....)
- best guy: Jason Castro
- best girl: Brooke White (nice work, girl!!)
- adious to: Luke Perry look alike Luke, and Jacuzzi (who by the way doesn't seem to have a last name on the site??? huh? Who do you think you are... Cher, Madonna? I demand an answer!) I also think it will be bye bye for Kady (your nine lives are up) and (shake up warning, shake up warning) Syesha Mercado - great voice and great legs, but you gotta BRING IT if you're last. Sorry love.
- Spinning
- you are killing me as of late..... I am still fully committed you'll be surprised to learn. I can also barely walk, aren't you supposed to get better as time goes on?? What gives? My favorite instructor Mel is just the greatest... where else can you hear Squeeze, Madness, and Young MC back to back?
Hercules, Hercules :D xo, Brie

Hello? Did you have a doubt? Come on, what up?
In case you missed it.....
and tonight I see my son Christian Siriano take home the project runway title! Christian after you win, hop on the midtown direct and get over here. We'll celebrate with mojitos, you can make me a fun little cape and then we'll flat iron each other's hair. It'll be FIERCE ;) Good luck tonight <3<3<3>oxox, Brie

Outlook Not Good
so says the 8 ball! I am posting immediately after Idol tonight while my mind is fresh and I don't want any outside influences clouding my vision :) I also have a half hour to kill until PR!
but thank you, thank you for that awesome dance move at the end! Like Keely and Country Girl have both said.... a cruise ship is calling your name.
your Freddy Mercury was NOT bad and you remind me of Luke Perry which is weird because your name is Luke. You're getting the boot for lacking the old stage charisma.
you have used your get out of jail free card already. Bold choice to sing "No Good" because that's just how I thought the judges would rate the performance.
and last but not least, bye to cute Kady. I love your Brittany impression, it's great! I loved your dress tonight! The stones reminded me of my scarab bracelet which I LOVE and am now off to go look for! xo, Brie
